Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I have waited years for this moment, to announce I am running for the State House. Words cannot begin to express the joy and excitement, I am feeling. I wanted to share about myself, and why I want you to invest in me. My thoughts are being drowned out right now though. In the background I hear the riots on television, the statistics for COVID 19 deaths, the defunding of our police departments. This term we continue to hear, our “new normal.” What exactly does this mean? I don’t know about you, but I know that I don’t want my kids to grow up in a world wearing masks, no police protection, and no freedom of speech.

We all work better when we are helping each other. We do not need to tear anyone else down to build ourselves up. I do believe that the Republicans are the party of empowerment. I am a Republican and a conservative, and I am proud of it. I believe the proper role of government is to protect equal rights, not to provide equal things. We need to continue to keep New Hampshire’s economy growing. I do not support a sales or income tax. I do not want to see anyone take your guns away. I am passionate about our right to keep and bear arms. I truly believe the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

I believe all people are created equal and deserve equal rights. I believe in our freedom of speech. I fear our basic freedoms are slowly slipping away. We need to run our country based on laws and not the emotions of man.

I am asking you to invest in me, invest in our children, invest in our future. Please visit my website: melissalitchfieldforamerica.org and consider making a Donation. Spend some time on the website, and get to know my family and I better. Learn about my degree in accounting and my many years of serving the town of Brentwood as an elected official. Even better, reach out to me directly at [email protected] and tell me, what can I do for you? What can I do to make your world a better place!

The best is yet to come!
